We love trees

Trees have many benefits.

Trees clean the air of pollutants and create oxygen for our environments.  Trees provide architecture for wild life and visually enhance our landscapes.  Trees can reduce sound, block unsightly objects and create definition .

Leaves from deciduous trees create shade in the summer reducing air conditioning costs.  In the winter leaves fall off and let sun light thru reducing heating costs.

What we do

We consult with clients to bring the best possible arboriculture solutions to our community.

The Guiding Principles of Arboriculture

  • As tree development changes with time, so must tree care.
  • Tree care is a long-term, low intensity process.
  • Tree care is founded on the principles of plant health care.
  • Tree care applies general concepts to specific genotypes.
  • In tree care an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure because we have a limited ability to cure.
  • Good trees and tree care start with quality plants.
  • tree selection is founded on "right plant, right place."
  • Arboriculture treatments can have either positive or negative consequences.
  • Tree health and hazard are related but not equivalent.
  • Arboriculture and forestry are related but not equivalent.

Projects within Grass Valley city limits are subjected to regulations set forth by Grass Valley.
